Thursday links — Athlon’s ranks UW’s recruiting class, and more

We’ll start with Athlon’s countdown of the Top 25 recruiting classes for 2012, a list that hits UW today at No. 21.

Here’s the breakdown of UW’s class and as you can see the Huskies were also fifth in Pac-12 schools in this rating (and the mention of Cody Blanc is a mistake, as he’s headed to Tennessee).

IN OTHER NEWS. …

— Athlon’s also has its pre-spring list of coaches on the hot seat. Cal’s Jeff Tedford is the only Pac-12 coach mentioned.

— CBSSports.com’s Bruce Feldman takes an in-depth look at how Stanford’s recruiting class came to be.

— CollegeFootballTalk.com examines some Pac-12 spring storylines.

— TeamSpeedKills.com has a breakdown of college football TV ratings by conference, noting the Pac-12 came in fifth in 2011.

— CoachingSearch.com reviews Arizona State’s staff.

— A few comings-and-goings at Arizona, which kicks off spring practice soon.

— Some interesting comments from USC’s backup quarterbacks on the return of Matt Barkley.

— SI.com with an interesting breakdown of the schools that sign the most in-state talent.

All for now.
