The news never stops. …

— I’ve seen a few of you already are discussing today’s column by Gregg Doyel of CBSSports.com on the situation at Oregon. Doyel says the NCAA is “screwing up the case” and ought to “throw” the rulebook at the Ducks, but appears unlikely to do that.

— Washington State lost another linebacker today, the second potential 2012 starter at that spot to be dismissed from the team in recent weeks.

— Draft analyst Rob Rang says the group of potential running draftees, including Chris Polk, is being looked at with some increasing value by NFL general managers.

Phil Steele takes a guess at how the AP might rank the top teams heading into next season.

— A few more links from ESPN.com’s Pac-12 blog.

— If you’re in Tennessee in June, you can send your kid to Jake Locker’s camp.

— No Husky mentions, but lots of other Pac-12 stuff in Ted Miller’s weekly mailbag.

— The 49ers today put the franchise tag on former Husky Dashon Goldson, and here’s an explanation why.

— UW’s official site has a picture of the construction of the football operations building.

— Looks like Shaquille Thompson pitched an inning for Grant High on Monday as it won its baseball opener.

— Finally, Chris Polk’s management company has put together a highlight film, with some interesting views of some plays UW fans remember well:
