Sunday links —- UW’s first foe of 2012 calls it a wrap on spring

While the Huskies remain eight days away from beginning their spring practice, their first opponent of 2012 — San Diego State —- is already done.

Teams get 15 spring practices regardless of when they start, and the Aztecs decided to get theirs in early. Here’s a good wrapup of what SDSU got accomplished, most notably the fact that former Oregon State QB Ryan Katz appears to be the leader in the quarterback derby.

Here’s another overview of SDSU’s spring, including spring game stats.

San Diego State plays UW on Sept. 1 at Century Link Field to open the season.
