Husky Football Blog

The latest news and analysis on the Montlake Dawgs.

April 12, 2012 at 9:26 AM

Thursday links — Live chat at 1 p.m.

The Huskies are off today. But we’ll keep the conversation going here with a live chat at 1 p.m. to talk about spring football.

Until then, a few links. …

— I wrote a couple stories for today’s paper. This on Danny Shelton and this on Colin Porter, which was basically a condensed version of the blog post.

— UW’s coaches clinic is this weekend and space is still available. Here are details.

— CoachSark’s site with some photos of Wednesday’s practice.

— DallasCowboys.com takes a look at Alameda Ta’amu.

— ReignofTroy.com says UW could have the best secondary in the Pac-12 this year outside of USC.

— Being a little lower on numbers but greater in experience, USC is tackling less this spring.

— Here’s a few updates on Stanford including that the race to replace Andrew Luck remains a two-man battle heading into the spring game and that the tight end spot will look a little different with Coby Fleener gone.

— Lots of WSU news from Christian Caple as well as links around the conference.

— Here’s an update on Oregon State’s running back battle.

— Arizona State has quite the battle brewing at quarterback.

— Here’s a look at where Colorado goes now at receiver without Paul Richardson.

— Arizona’s hoping its left tackle gets healthy.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller highlights a Utah receiver who definitely falls in the underrated category.

— Miller also has a Pac-12 recruiting update, though worth noting again that ESPN is the only site that lists Aaron Baltazar as a UW commit — he been quoted in several other places since then saying he is heavily considering the Huskies but has not committed and Scout.com and Rivals.com and others do not list him as a commit.

— Missed this the other day but Tom Lemming has unveiled his early top 100 recruits for the Class of 2013.

— PacificTakes looks at what might be ahead with the Pac-12 and its deal with FOX this fall.
