Sunday links — Scrimmages dominate

Lots of scrimmage news and a little other stuff around the Pac-12 from yesterday, so let’s get to it. …

— Here’s my story from Saturday’s scrimmage.

— Washington State’s defense also seemed to get the better of it during the Cougars’ practice Saturday.

Jon Wilner says Stanford’s spring game did nothing to solve the team’s quarterback question.

— USC didn’t tackle during its spring game Saturday and also still has a battle at backup QB. Matt Barkley, though, says USC isn’t close yet to being talked about as a national title contender.

— Arizona suffered a big loss when safety Adam Hall tore his ACL Saturday. Here’s more on UA’s scrimmage.

— Some notes six practices into UCLA’s spring and no clear answers yet at QB.

— While not much is being expected of Oregon State this year, Mike Riley is as optimistic as ever.

— Oregon’s hoping LB Kiko Alonso has matured.

— Colorado concluded spring drills with lots of question marks.

— Freshman QB Travis Wilson, who considered UW before signing with Utah, has quickly risen up the depth chart for the Utes.
