Huskies get two commits

In continuing to catch up on the news of the day, the Huskies did indeed get some immediate payoff from Junior Day, receiving two public commitments — one is from Bellevue linebacker Sean Constantine and the other from cornerback Derek Babiash of Poway, Calif. Both were among the players that visited UW this weekend as part of the school’s Junior Day.

Here’s Mason Kelley’s story on Constantine’s commitment. He is rated three stars by Scout.com and the No. 20 middle linebacker in the country, and four stars and No. 15 nationally by Rivals.com.

The commitment of Babiash has been reported by both RealDawg.com and Dawgman.com. He is rated three stars by Rivals.com and No. 34 nationally at his position, and four stars and No. 24 by Scout.com.

They are the third and fourth commits for the Class of 2013, joining Lakes High WR Sammie Long and Tumwater DL Jaimie Bryant.
