First of all, Happy Mother’s Day, including to my mother, still going strong at 85. As for the links, they are heavy on news of recently graduated Huskies trying to forge their way in the NFL. ….

— That’s Chris Polk in an Eagles jersey (in an AP photo) blocking during a drill during a Philadelphia mini-camp Saturday. This story quotes Polk from his interview following the practice, saying that “it was a shock to me” that he didn’t get drafted but that he will use it as extra motivation. He also again denies the rumors of a hip injury, and as I’ve noted, there was zero evidence of that during his UW career, when he did have two shoulder surgeries and one knee surgery.

— Here’s a story that pictures Polk during his post-practice interviews and says his blocking could give him a leg up.

— And this story includes some video of Polk from his post-practice interview.

Cort Dennison, meanwhile, is getting a look from the Raiders this weekend during their mini-camp as one of the players Oakland has brought in for a tryout (and for whatever reason, seems as if there have been a lot of Raider-Husky ties through the years, from Ben Davidson and Curt Marsh to Marques Tuiasosopo and then to recent guys like Kahlif Barnes and Marcel Reece.) And probably worth making clear here that getting a tryout — as is Dennison — is different than Polk, who has signed as an undrafted free agent and is part of Philadelphia’s roster. Jermanie Kearse (Seahawks) and Devin Aguilar (Titans) also signed as undrafted free agents.

— Another former Husky, Kavario Middleton, is also getting a tryout with the Seahawks this weekend, as is E.J. Savannah, as was noted on Friday.

— And also getting a look in a tryout camp is kicker Erik Folk with the Falcons.

— NFLMocks.com offers this scouting report on Keith Price.

Bud Withers makes his picks on the Pac-12 South.

— There’s even more conference juggling going on (you’re more than excused if you feel like you can’t keep track of it all) and CBSSports.com says it could lead to a consolidation of power in the top four conferences.

— Pacific Takes offers an update on some of the top West Coast recruits for the Class of 2013.

— Here’s an interesting story on the chances of Johnny Hekker, a Bothell High grad who walked on at Oregon State, to make the roster of the Rams.

— A few links from Friday from ESPN.com’s Pac-12 blog.
