Friday afternoon links — UW commit Williams set for Elite 11 regional finals Saturday

A few more links before heading off into the weekend. …

— And it’ll be a busy weekend for quarterback Troy Williams, who a week ago committed to sign with UW as part of its Class of 2013 as he will participate in the Elite 11 regional finals Saturday in Las Vegas with a chance to get into the finals later this summer. — Some interesting stuff from Brock Huard on the WSUFootballBlog (and also one person pictured that definitely is not like the other).

— Surprising news out of Arizona today where linebacker Brian Wagner, who some thought might contend for all-conference honors this year, has decided to give up football.

— USC WR Robert Woods, a key to the team’s national title hopes, says conjecture about the severity of his ankle injury is overblown.
