Mid-June, when other than recruiting there is little going on in college football, is the time for all kinds of speculation and prognostication about the season-to-be.
So it is with Athlon’s Sports, which comes up with not five, not 10, but 25 potential Heisman Trophy Candidates from the Pac-12 alone. Here’s the list, most of whom surely won’t come close to getting even a sniff of a vote — not a criticism of them, just the way it works that inevitably only about 8-10 players nationwide really factor in as the season starts to unfold.
As you can see, there are a few Huskies on the list — Keith Price at No. 4, Austin Seferian-Jenkins at 15 and Shaq Thompson at 24, with Kasen Williams listed as another name to watch, 25 apparently not being enough.
