Saturday links

To start, I want to make sure the post yesterday on UW’s camps didn’t create the idea that those are this weekend. They are next weekend. So while there can always be recruiting news this time of year, it’s next weekend when the camp is being held (more specifically, Thursday to Saturday) and when it won’t be a surprise if UW gets a commitment or two from some of those attending.

Percy Allen has a good interview with Lorenzo Romar that includes the note that he “thinks” Austin Seferian-Jenkins will play basketball again next year. Steve Sarkisian has said only that they’ll take that on a year-by-year basis and make that decision when it needs to be made.

Bud Withers with some thoughts on whether the APR is really effective.

— The Sporting News says UW has the No. 5 toughest schedule in the Pac-12 this year.

— ESPN.com has an overview of Pac-12 recruiting.

— CBSSport.com says UW currently has the No. 2 class in the Pac-12 for 2013.

— NFL.com with more on Jake Locker’s attempt to win the starting QB job in Tennessee, including some video.

— Boise State’s future still hasn’t been determined.

— Finally, I had a segment on the Kevin Calabro Show Friday afternoon, talking about the proposed playoffs, Shaq Thompson and a little more. Listen below:
