Sixkiller Golf Classic coming soon

Organizers report that there are still a few spots left in the Second Annual Sonny Sixkiller Celebrity Golf Classic, which will be held Friday, July 27 at the Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course.

You can find more details here.

The Event will kick off with a cocktail reception pairings party and a dinner and auction on Thursday, July 26, at Seven Cedars Casino. The live auction will feature several Husky items and experiences.

On Friday, Sixkiller will be joined by what organizers say will be more than 30 University of Washington Husky Legends, including former head coaches Don James and Jim Lambright. This year, the tournament will also recognize players from the 1960-61 Rose Bowl Champion Teams and scheduled to appear from that era are Bob Schloredt, Don McKeta, Chuck Allen, Kermit Jorgensen, Stan Chapple and Don Millich and the only living coach from those squads, Norm Pollom.

Other former UW football players scheduled to participate are Bill Cahill, Jason Chorak, Cam Cleeland, Nesby Glasgow, Michael Jackson, Scott Jones, Jim Krieg, Mark Lee, Dane Looker, Jeff Jordan, Ray Pinney and Marques Tuiasosopo.
