Monday afternoon links

A few more links to pass the afternoon. …

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller reviews the Pac-12’s quarterbacks and declares UW in “great shape.”

— MusicCityMiracles continues its exhaustive examination of Jake Locker’s passing during his rookie season with the Titans.

— ESPN’s RecruitingNation has a brief video item and highlight on Darrell Daniels.

— ESPN.com’s Miller also has some thoughts on Dennis Dodd’s hot seat ratings as does Pacific Takes.

— Looks like former Husky Ben Ossai will be on the practice roster for the BC Lions while Joe Lobendahn is on the injured list in Calgary as the CFL season gets ready to open.

Shaq Green-Thompson has not played in any more games for the Red Sox Gulf Coast League team since his debut last week (though the fact Carl Crawford was there this weekend on a rehab assignment might have crowded things a little).

— Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott explained today why he changed his mind on using a selection committee to pick the four teams for a playoff.

— This is definitely worth a bookmark — the Pac-12 Networks has its own blog.

— Some interesting stuff in this ASU football notebook on Joe Mathis — also being recruited by UW — as well as the cost of the football team’s struggles the last few years to the school’s athletic budget.

— FishDuck.com has some ideas for spicing up non-conference schedules.

— Grantland.com says Lane Kiffin is maturing into the USC head coaching job.
