ESPN announces new Rose Bowl agreement

The news of the changes in the college football playoff system led to inevitable questions about the future of the Rose Bowl.

Those were answered this morning when ESPN announced a new 12-year agreement with the Pac-12 and Big Ten, with the game continuing to pit the champs of those two leagues (when new a semifinal game in the tournament, apparently) and be played on Jan. 1.
