Huskies No. 26 in USA Today/Coaches Poll

The USA Today/Coaches Poll has just been released and the Huskies came in at what is basically No. 26, receiving 64 to be the first team out of the top 25.

Here’s the entire poll, which also includes a list of voters, which as you can see again includes Steve Sarkisian (he didn’t do it last year).

Three UW opponents are in the top five — LSU at No. 1, USC at No. 3 and Oregon at No. 5. The one other UW opponent rated is Stanford at No. 18. UW is then next among Pac-12 teams getting votes. The only other Pac-12 team getting votes is Utah with 22.

Other Pac-12 coaches with a vote are USC’s Lane Kiffin, WSU’s Mike Leach, Cal’s Jeff Tedford, Oregon State’s Mike Riley and Arizona’s Rich Rodriguez.

The AP poll will be released later this month.
