Sarkisian interview on KJR-AM

As noted earlier, UW coach Steve Sarkisian was a guest on KJR-AM this morning with Mitch Levy and Dick Fain.

Sarkisian was in studio for an hour or so, so it was a wide-ranging discussion touching on topics on and off the field.

In one news note, Sarkisian said guard Colin Tanigawa, who started 11 games last season before suffering an ACL injury against Oregon State, has been cleared to fully participate in camp.

He also said Kasen Williams has had one of the top five off-seasons of any player on the team and in talking about the defense, said he thinks the talent is a lot better than is often portrayed.
