Video — Sarkisian’s press conference

Steve Sarkisian’s press conference previewing training camp has concluded.

No huge personnel revelations but here are a few quick notes:

— He said redshirt frosh LB Matt Lyons has decided to transfer;

— True frosh WR Dwayne Washington has yet to be cleared by the NCAA. However, LB Cory Littleton has been cleared. So Washington is the only signee from the Class of 2012 not to be eligible for the first practice.

— He said most players are cleared to practice. One who remains out is LB Cooper Pelluer with the shoulder surgery he had at the end of the spring. And RB Ryan McDaniel, who was out in the spring rehabbing a knee injury, won’t do much. But everybody else will be able to participate, though some will be limited.

— One player Sarkisian said will be able to practice is RB Deontae Cooper, who has not played in two years due to knee injuries. Sarkisian said, though, that Cooper will be monitored closely and won’t be given fulltime duty right away.

You can watch the first 20 minutes or so of the press conference below. I’ll have more detailed quotes later:
