Some links and a poll — How would you grade UW’s opener

It’s getting late, but wanted to pass along a few links of our coverage and a few other things before calling it a night.

Also, at the bottom is a poll that asks a simple question — how would you grade the season opener? The first quarter was just about an A-plus. But it felt more like a C from there on out, which adds up to a passing grade, which is what UW ultimately got, earning a win — the obvious ultimate goal — but showing lots of room for improvement, especially with the schedule ahead.

Before the poll, though, a few links. …

— You can find all of our coverage here.

— Here’s my game story.

Steve Kelley says UW will need a lot bigger game from Keith Price to have a chance at LSU.

— Here’s my notebook, including why Rocky Long never kicked the ball.

Percy Allen breaks down the improvement of UW’s defense. (And speaking of the defense, the picture is of Will Shamburger gathering the fumble he returned for a touchdown that proved vital in the win).

Jerry Brewer says the CLink isn’t quite Husky Stadium.

— Here’s the 2-Minute Drill with some nuts and bolts.

— Here are the stats.

Mason Kelley has this instant analysis on ESPN.com’s Pac-12 blog.

— In other Pac-12 games: Colorado State beat Colorado (story here); Nevada upset Cal (story here); USC hammered Hawaii (story here); Oregon clobbered Arkansas State (story here); and Arizona needed overtime to beat Toldeo despite gaining 624 yards, second-most in school history (story here).

— Good roundup of the week that was in the Pac-12 from CBSSports.com.

— UW will now turn its attention to LSU, which got a predictably easy win over North Texas, outgaining North Texas 508-219.

Now, here’s the poll:

How would you grade the Huskies’ opener?
