Monday morning notes

No taking this Labor Day off. …

— UW coach Steve Sarkisian will hold his regular Monday press conference at 2 p.m. You can watch it live on UWTV or listen live on KJR-AM and we’ll also quickly relay the important news, notes and quotes in this space, as well.

— I will also be on KJR-AM this morning on the Husky Roundtable hosted by Mitch Levy, and along with former Huskies Hugh Millen and Chuck Nelson.

— Here’s my story for the Monday paper focusing on some of the offensive issues that crept up, especially with some of the injuries, which could have some long-term ramifications.

Bud Withers reviewed the Pac-12 Networks telecast of the game and calls it generally a hit.

Jerry Brewer gives his assessment of UW’s performance Saturday night.

— The betting line is now as high as 24 points in LSU’s favor.

— The LA Times includes UW’s trip to LSU as one of five to watch this weekend.

— A columnist for the Baton Rouge Advocate says LSU has to clean up its game this week or UW could take advantage.
