The loss of Jesse Callier for the season means everyone on the tailback depth chart moves up a spot.
Sophomore Bishop Sankey will get the start, but others are sure to have to play at some point along the way.
Among those is redshirt freshman Dezden Petty. He’s listed No. 4 at tailback this week behind Sankey, true frosh Erich Wilson II and walk-on sophomore Willis Wilson.
Petty is the biggest of the four, listed at 225 pounds — Sankey is listed at 201, and Erich Wilson and Willis Wilson each at 188.
Petty didn’t play last week, but UW coach Steve Sarkisian said he could this weekend as the Huskies figure to work in all of their tailbacks at some point, not wanting to put it all on Sankey’s shoulders.
