A few post-game links

A night road game means some tough deadlines, and now some long and early hours to get back home.

So there’s not a lot of time tonight to analyze this one. Not that it needs a lot of analysis — LSU is simply a lot better than UW is right now. I know there’s a lot of frustration out there about that, and some questioning whether there ought to be that big of a gap in the fourth year for a coach. Because of some of UW’s issues on the lines, though, this looked like a bad matchup from the start, and turned out worse than a lot of us thought. And LSU didn’t even play a real efficient game with some of its penalties and dropped passes and a few other mistakes.

A tough one, no doubt about. And now UW comes home to what looks like the one gimme on its schedule — Portland State at CenturyLink Saturday. UW has to get a nice confidence-building there to launch itself into Pac-12 play.

For now, though, the press box is closing up so I’ll pass along a few links:

Steve Kelley says the Huskies were simply no match for LSU.

— Here’s my game story.

— And the notebook.

— And here’s a link to all of our coverage including some video highlights.

— Here’s a link to the official LSU site with all kinds of interviews and videos, if you want it.

— Here’s all the coverage from the Baton Rouge Advocate.

— And from NOLA.com.

— Here’s the wrapup from CBSSports.com.

— And from ESPN.com.

All for now.
