This week’s major Top 25 ballots are out — view them here.
UW again did not get votes in the AP Top 25 but did get two points in the Coaches Poll (those votes are not made public so we don’t know who put UW on hits ballot).
As you can see, the AP poll makes clear the tough road ahead for the Huskies, whose next five games come against Stanford (9th), Oregon (3rd), USC (13th), Arizona (22nd) and Oregon State (enough votes to technically stand 26th).
The only other future UW opponent to get a vote is Utah, which got one vote after defeating BYU late last night.
As for my ballot, there wasn’t a lot to do at the top other than to move Stanford up lot and USC down a bit.
I now have five Pac-12 teams on my ballot, and seriously considered a sixth in Oregon State. The Beavers, though, have played just the one game and the win over Wisconsin didn’t grow in stature with Wisconsin’s continuing struggles.
Here’s my ballot for this week’s AP Top 25:
4, Florida State
6, West Virginia
9, Notre Dame
10, South Carolina
13, Kansas State
18, Ohio State
22, Michigan State
23, Oklahoma State
24, Mississippi State
