Freshman WR Washington cleared to play

Washington has just announced that freshman receiver Dwayne Washington of Gahr High in Lakewood, Calif., has been cleared to play.

Here’s the release.

As noted in the release, he had been waiting approval from the NCAA Clearinghouse — he had already been admitted to school. UW begins classes Monday.

This means every signee of UW’s Class of 2012 has been admitted into school and is on the team except for OLB/DE Kalei Auelua of Honolulu, who is expected to enroll in January (making him technically a grayshirt).
