The latest news and analysis on the Montlake Dawgs.

October 11, 2012 at 11:02 AM

Thursday from Montlake

UW is off the field following its Thursday practice.

UW coach Steve Sarkisian met the media briefly afterward — you can watch the video below.

No significant news. Sarkisian was asked if there were any personnel updates. But as you’re no doubt aware, the school isn’t really discussing injuries anymore and Sarkisian did not offer any personnel news today.

For those who have asked about Austin Seferian-Jenkins, I would refer you again to what Sarkisian said on his radio show Monday night where he said they were encouraged that he would play Saturday. And going off UW’s depth chart released Monday, there is again a chance that Ben Riva could return since he was listed as a co-starter at right tackle. So going off that info, Riva would be the only player who has not played of late (recall that LBs Nate Fellner and Jamaal Kearse are now back and played last week at Oregon) who might be back.

Sarkisian also talked about the possibility of rain (mostly minimizing its impact), defending USC’s running backs and tight ends, and some general thoughts on recruiting visits during the season.
