Beavers favored by 4 over Huskies

The opening lines for next week’s college games are out, and Oregon State has been installed as a four-point favorite over the Huskies Saturday night at CenturyLink Field.

That might seem low on the surface given what the two teams have done the last couple weeks — as well as each team’s result against Arizona (OSU won in Tucson 38-35). But it also speaks to the difficulty of winning on the road, and that UW has been a vastly different team at home — Washington has won 10 of its last 12 home games.

Here are the spreads for other Pac-12 games next week:

— Arizona State is a 7-point favorite at home against UCLA;
— Stanford is a 21-point favorite at home against Washington State;
— USC is a 6.5-point favorite at Arizona;
— Utah is a 2-point favorite at home against Cal;
— and in what has to be one of the biggest spreads ever for a Pac-12 game, Oregon is a 45.5-point favorite against visiting Colorado.
