Saturday’s 7:15 p.m. game against Oregon State is also UW’s Homecoming. And the school reports that as of Monday, it had distributed 56,000 tickets, including 4,500 to Oregon State.
That could make the game one of the better-attended of the season. UW is averaging 57,702 for the season at CenturyLink Field, with a high of 66,202 against USC. Assuming the usual purchase of a few thousand or so more tickets leading up to the game, and this week’s contest should hit that average, if not pass it a little bit.
UW averaged 62,531 last year in its final season at Husky Stadium before it was renovated.
