Cal favored by 4 over Huskies

The opening lines for next weekend’s college football games are out.

And they show Cal listed as a 4-point favorite over the Huskies, a spread that likely would be reversed, if not more, if the game were in Seattle. UW has looked like one team at home and a different one on the road, and that undoubtedly is influencing the number, as well.

The Huskies are 4-4 on the field and also against the spread this season.

Here are the opening lines for the other Pac-12 games next weekend:

— Utah is a 12-point favorite at home against Washington State;
— Stanford is a 28-point favorite at Colorado;
— Oregon State is a 3.5-point favorite at home against Arizona State;
— Oregon is a 6-point favorite at USC;
— And there is no line yet on the UCLA-Arizona game due to the uncertainty over the health of UA QB Matt Scott, who was knocked out of the USC game in the late going Saturday.
