Utah kickoff time won’t be set until next week

UW has announced that it will not get a kickoff time or TV designation for the Nov. 10 game against Utah until next week.

The Pac-12 has the right to hold some games to a “six-day” window — most games during the season are on a “12-day window” — and used it for most of the Nov. 10 games. Sounds like five of the six games for that weekend will not be set until next week as the networks wait to see what happens in this weekend’s game.

So that means UW still has two games this year that do not have kickoff times yet — the Utah game and Nov. 17 at Colorado.

Friday’s game at Cal starts at 6 p.m. on ESPN2 and the Nov. 23 Apple Cup against WSU will begin at 12:30 p.m. and on either FX or FOX.

In this case, a time and TV situation for the Utah game could come next Sunday rather than the usual Monday.
