Kearse promoted to active roster for Seahawks

In case you missed it, thought I’d pass along the news that Jermaine Kearse was promoted today to the active roster for the Seahawks to take the place of Ben Obomanu, who is out for the year with an injury.

Here’s our story on the move.

And adding Kearse, here’s a look at what I have as UW players who are currently on NFL rosters:

OT Khalif Barnes, Oakland Raiders
LB Donald Butler, San Diego Chargers
LB Mason Foster, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
S Dashon Goldson, San Francisco 49ers
WR D’Andre Goodwin, Denver Broncos (on injured reserve)
WR Jermaine Kearse, Seattle Seahawks
OL Senio Kelemete, Arizona Cardinals
QB Jake Locker, Tennessee Titans
RB Chris Polk, Philadelphia Eagles
FB Marcel Reece, Oakland Raiders
DT Alameda Ta’amu, Pittsburgh Steelers
DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
