I’m headed off to the Bay Area in the morning to help out with our coverage of Pac-12 men’s basketball media day — which is conveniently for us in San Francisco the day before the UW-Cal game — and then to obviously cover the football game Friday night.
So once again, I’ll post some links tonight.
Those include my story for the Thursday paper on UW’s habit of being able to pull out close games the last few years. Included is a chart of all the games in the streak.
Also, I don’t see anything new on the status of WR Keenan Allen, and it sounds like his status might be uncertain until game time.
Otherwise, not a ton of links on this game, but here are a few, as well as some other stuff. …
— Danny O’Neil reports Jermaine Kearse will definitely play on special teams for the Seahawks Sunday.
— I’ve never heard this before, but Larry Stone reports that Jared Allen of the Vikings wanted to attend Washington before a high school yearbook scandal got in the way.
— Jon Wilner rates UW seventh in the Pac-12 this week.
— Wilner also looks at some key questions in the Pac-12, including whether Jeff Tedford will keep his job.
— California Golden Blogs reviews UW’s defense and concludes that the Bears could be in for a long night.
— Here’s an overview of Cal from Lindy’s Sports.
— The line remains unchanged at Cal by 4.
— CBSSports.com picks UW 24-21.
— SBNation breaks down some of the key matchups.
— Paul Buker of The Oregonian weighs in on the Sean Parker-Markus Wheaton and a few other topics.

Finally, here’s my appearance on KJR-AM today with Mike Gastineau:
