Gameday links

It’s nice and sunny outside my motel window here in Oakland as I type this, and it looks like it’ll be good conditions for the game tonight.

There isn’t a Rose Bowl or anything on the line. But all games in a college football season are all big in their own way, and this one is no exception — 5-4 and a road win will look paint a lot different picture of where the rest of the season is headed than 4-5.

I’ll plan again on a pre-game chat from the stadium around 4:30 p.m.

For now, some links. …

— Here’s my preview story.

Jerry Brewer weighs in on rushing the field.

Steve Kelley says it’s crunchtime for the Huskies and Seahawks, each at 4-4.

— Here is the coverage from UW’s official site.

— I linked this earlier, but worth linking again the game preview from the San Jose Mercury News.

— The Mercury News also offers this fact box.

Jon Wilner calls Washington his “5-Star Lock” of the week and also has an update on the DirecTV negotiations (which is essentially that there is nothing to update).

— Here’s the game preview from the San Francisco Chronicle.

— Here’s Cal’s two-deep for tonight (though obviously done before the news of Keenan Allen). And here are the game notes and lots of other links.

— ESPN.com’s Pac-12 blog breaks down the game.

— MadduxSports says to take UW.

— Here’s the Pac-12 Rundown from The Oregonian.

— And links around the conference from Christian Caple.
