It’s another early morning practice on Tuesday, so I’ll post a few links and notes tonight. …
— Here’s my story for the Tuesday paper looking more at Austin Seferian-Jenkins and defensive end.
— Jerry Brewer offers his weekly likes and dislikes from the UW game.
— The Pac-12 blog rounds up a lot of the key bowl projections for conference teams.
— The SportsChatPlace says take UW and give the points.
— The Boulder Daily Camera notes Colorado needs a win this week or next week to avoid becoming the first team in school history not to win a home game since 1920.
— Colorado enters the week with uncertainty at quarterback.
— The Deseret News doesn’t give Utah very good grades for its game at UW.
— PacificTakes offers its good, bad and unknown of UW’s win.
— I’ve been asked if replays are available. Since the game was on the Pac-12 Networks, that’s where any will be. The scroll at the bottom of this link presents the schedule. Looks like the first showing of the replay is Wednesday at 9 p.m.
— Here’s a short highlights package from Utah’s official site. It’s all the good Utah plays (so yes, if you are a Husky fan, the appropriate joke is that’s why it’s not very long). But always interesting to see a different perspective of key plays of the game.
— Here are some quotes from Utah coach Kyle Whittingham’s weekly press conference including some thoughts on the loss to UW, notably that he thought his team’s passing attack was “horrendous.”
— Bud Withers covers the latest on the happenings at WSU.
— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller does a nice job setting up the rest of the Pac-12 season — and I’m sure he was better-dressed than I have ever been in my life as he wrote it.
— Miller also previews all the games this weekend in the Pac-12.
— Jon Wilner has maybe the most detailed piece yet on what’s happened to Jeff Tedford at Cal — this could be his last game there this weekend.
— The whole “it’s just another game thing” is getting sort of out of hand when UCLA players won’t even admit that beating USC would be more meaningful than some other opponent.
— The future format for college football’s playoffs was finalized Monday.
— Finally, here’s another short highlight of the game, of the Kasen Williams TD catch that the Pac-12 called its “Catch of the Day.”
