Huskies open as 10.5-point favorites in Apple Cup

The opening Las Vegas lines for next week are out, and Washington is a 10.5-point favorite in the Apple Cup Friday at WSU. You can see that the line has gone to 11 at one sports book.

UW has suddenly turned into a good bet, winning its last four against the spread as well as straight up. UW is 7-4 both on the field and against the spread.

In lines involving other Pac-12 games this week:

— Utah is a 23-point favorite at Colorado (and yes, it seems odd the Utes would be favored by more there than UW was, though maybe it’s a reflection in part on what happened Saturday, as well);
—- Arizona is a three-point favorite over visiting Arizona State;
— UCLA is a 1.5-point favorite against visiting Stanford;
— Oregon is a 13-point favorite at Oregon State.

And there is no line yet on the USC-Notre Dame game with Matt Barkley’s status in question.
