Shelton named to Pac-12 All-Academic Team

Washington sophomore defensive tackle Danny Shelton was named to the Pac-12’s All-Academic Team Monday.

Here’s a release from the school with details.

Shelton has a 3.47 grade point average in Anthropology.

Named to the Honorable Mention team were four other Huskies — fullback Jonathan Amosa, receiver DiAndre Campbell and linebackers John Timu and Travis Feeney.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
