Tonight’s poll —- Are you happy with the season?

Washington’s season is not over as the Huskies are assured a bowl game, maybe the Las Vegas Bowl (here’s a view from Boise on that).

But the regular season has concluded, with UW at 7-5 for the second straight year, following a 6-6 record in 2010 and a 5-7 in 2009.

And the simple question I thought I’d throw out here tonight is if you are happy with the regular season?

With a young team, lots of injuries and a tough schedule, a lot of people thought 7-5 was about where this team would end up — it’s the record I predicted before the season, for instance.

But UW coach Steve Sarkisian certainly indicated he had higher hopes for the year with his stated goal that this was a season for the Huskies to “‘take the next step.” And given that UW seemed on the verge of an 8-4 season with one quarter to play at WSU, 7-5 might feel a little disappointing now.

Or maybe you feel neither good nor bad about it. Or maybe you want to see how UW does in the bowl game before making a final judgment.

So go ahead and vote below:
