Wednesday links — Eifert wins Mackey Award

We’ll start with the news this morning that Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame has won the John Mackey Award, which honors the nation’s best tight end.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Zach Ertz of Stanford were the other finalists.

ASJ will return next year and Ertz can if he desires, so those two could be battling it out again for the Mackey next year.
