A tradition of bowl games is visits by the participants to local charities.
So it was at the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas today as staffers and five players from both Washington and Boise State assisted the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation in providing 400 disadvantaged children from the Las Vegas area with much-needed new shoes, socks and other supplies. Kids were sized, according to a press release from bowl organizers, and then selected a new pair of shoes from the Goodie Two Shoes semi-truck with help from the Huskies and Broncos.
