Friday press conference notes

The final pre-game press conference has concluded.

Frankly, not a ton of news at this point and in a setting like this — players and coaches on a podium It’s mostly a TV event.

The theme from the Husies was pretty similar as it’s been since the game was announced — wanting redemption for the Apple Cup.

“I thknk  we are always motivated regardless of what happened previously,” said cornerback Desmond Trufant. “But how we lost that game and had that game and let it go, we have that bad taste in our mouth so we are looking forward to moving on.”

UW QB Keith Price said a key will be finding a way to pass the ball on a Boise State secondary that allowed just three touchdown passes this season.

“They don’t get beat deep,” he said. “They have a very sticky secondary and when we have our opportunities to make plays we have to make plays because they do a great job. They are very disciplined and they don’t make mistakes.”

I’ll have more later.
