Gameday links

Well, here we go. The final gameday of the season The end of college for some guys, and the conclusion of a season that still seems a little undefined as far as how it will be perceived.

That’s what I wrote about as the focus of  my preview for the game.

Here are some other links. …

Joe Davidson of the Sacramento Bee Tweeted that freshman safety James Sample, a Sacramento native, is expected to transfer. As I wrote on Twitter, Sample has been practicing with the team, so he hasn’t left yet if he is leaving. But as is the case with players who don’t really play, he has not been available to the media, and there is no confirmation of this from the school.

Steve Kelley wrote about Brent Musburger, who will do the game today for ESPN.

Bud Withers picks the Huskies.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller previews the game with a focus on next year, as well.

— Here’s a list of viewing parties from the UWAA.

— Here’s the coverage from GoHuskies.com.

— The Idaho Statesman writes about Shaq Thompson.

— Here is the rest of the Statesman’s coverage.

— Here’s a preview from The Sporting News.

— And here’s a preview from Pacific Takes.

— Another preview from Pregame.com.

— And Athlon’s, which predicts a 24-20 Boise State win.
