CoachingSearch.com says Arkansas will hire Joel Thomas
CoachingSearch.com is reporting tonight that UW running backs coach Joel Thomas is leaving for Arkansas to go work for new head coach Bret Bielima.
Thomas has been at UW for all four years of the Steve Sarkisian era, and has helped coach a 1,000-yard rusher every season —
Chris Polk for three years and Bishop Sankey this season.
Thomas has a contract at UW through the 2013 season that paid him $190,000 this season and was due to pay him $205,000 next season.
No official confirmation of this yet.
