— 247Sports has released its final Class of 2013 ratings. A few UW commits are ranked —- DT Elijah Qualls (96), WR Demorea Stringfellow (116), WR Darrell Daniels (123), QB Troy Williams (124), DE Daeshon Hall (147), DE Marcus Farria (179) and CB Jermaine Kelly (203). Here’s an accompanying story.

Jon Wilner makes his early picks for the 2013 Pac-12 season and has UW thid in the North and writes “there’s no reason for UW to win fewer than nine games andn finish lower than third.”

—  The ESPN Pac-12 looks at some of the best moments of the season. UW earns a couple of mentions, including the note that the Huskies were one of just four Pac-12 teams this season to start the same quarterback in every game.

— UW is among those “next in line” in Athlon’s early top 25 for 2013.

— SBNation counts down the top 100 games of the season. In its listings of 71-100, UW comes in No. 83 with its win over Oregon State. The Las Vegas Bowl comes in at No. 69. The win over Stanford comes in at 27 and, well, the Apple Cup comes in at 18.

— Former UW assistant Doug Nussmeier made more than $700,000 this year as the offensive coordinator at Alabama. He made $365,000 in 2011 at UW.
