A recruiting updates, and a little more. …

— Dawgman.com reported last night that DT Elijah Qualls will not take any more recruiting visits and is solid in his commitment to Washington. As this story notes, there had been some reports that he was considering taking a trip to Nebraska. But sounds like he’s now done with  the recruiting process.

— At the bottom of this notebook from the Sacramento Bee is a little bit of an update on DT Eddie Vanderdoes, one of the top uncommitted players on the West Coast. He took a trip to UW in December.

— UW will have a home visit this week with OL Nico Falah, who visited UW in December, as well.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller makes some bold predictions for the Pac-12 in 2013, including tabbing Keith Price as the Comeback Player of the Year.

— Here is the current roster for the Senior Bowl. Desmond Trufant remains the only UW player in the game.

— ESPN also lists early Heisman possibilities from the Pac-12. No Huskies included.

— Athlon’s breaks down which states starting QBs came from in 2012. I guess I hadn’t realized  there weren’t any Washignton natives starting at QB for a power conference this year.

— Here’s a note on the Oregon spring game being on the Pac-12 Network — for the questions I’ve gotten, UW has yet to release any details about its spring football plans.

— Are  the Titans looking to simplify their offense for Jake Locker?
