Five future Huskies on Rivals Top 250

Rivals.com has released its final Top 250 rankings for the year today, having released its final Top 100 yesterday.

UW currently has five commits in the top 250. Two were in the Top 100 revealed yesterday — QB Troy Williams at 71 and WR Damore’ea Stringfellow at 85.

The three others in the final 250 are DE Joe Mathis at 161, DB Jermaine Kelly at 225 and WR Darrell Daniels at 245.

All are from California with UW hitting the out-of-state recruits a little harder this year with the in-state crop regarded as not being quite as deep.

Williams is already enrolled at UW while the other four are expected to sign on Feb. 6.

Rivals.com has UW’s class rated at No. 12 nationally and third among Pac-12 teams behind USC (6th) and UCLA (10th).

Rivals.com is hosting a live chat about the rankings at 11 a.m.

— Also, Bruce Feldman with a good breakdown of the teams hit  hardest by early defection with Stanford at No. 10.
