As I wrote shortly before the Las Vegas Bowl, Desmond Trufant hoped he would be able to go to the Senior Bowl and duplicate the efforts of his older brother, Marcus, who used a good showing there to help make himself a first-round pick of the Seahawks in 2003.
In his first two days at the Senior Bowl, where the practices are generally viewed as more important than the game, it sounds as if Trufant is doing just that.
CBSSports.com draft analyst Rob Rang wrote today that Trufant stood out again at practice today and could indeed make himself a first-rounder.
DetroitLions.com also wrote about Trufant, including a quote from Raiders’ coach Dennis Allen, who is coaching the North team.
