Wednesday links

A few more links on Desmond Trufant, recruiting, and more. …

— Another day, another batch of stories on how well Trufant is playing at the Senior Bowl. Here’s one today from DallasCowboys.com. And here are some thoughts from ESPN’s analysts. Trufant may be the only UW player taken in the 2013 Draft. And with each day, it sounds like that could happen a little earlier.

— One of the big names coming to UW for an official visit this weekend is Bellevue LB Myles Jack. However, there continue to be reports that his commitment to UCLA is solid after his trip there this weekend. The latest came today via Scout.com, which quoted Jack saying his commitment to UCLA is just that, solid, and that UCLA “is the best place for me.” He said he is taking visits to UW this weekend and Florida State next weekend “because I said I wanted to take them all.” For now, though, looks like there’s not much mystery remaining on where Jack will sign.

—A player about whom there remains some mystery is OL recruit Nico Falah. Scout.com reports he “is torn” between USC and UW. He appears to be done taking trips but may not make a decision for a little while yet.

— Scout.com at the moment lists only Jack as a player with an offer making a visit this weekend. That will almost certainly change.

— Lots of links around the conference from the ESPN Pac-12 blog.

— Some track fans not happy with the Pac-12 Networks.

Jon Wilner with some thoughts on recent Pac-12/college football developments.

— AL.com with some good stuff on how much college commissioners make.
