Friday links — Live chat at noon, and more

I’ll hold a live chat today at noon to talk about UW football with letter-of-intent day nearing.

— Dawgman,com Tweeted this morning that UW will get an official  visits this weekend from offensive tackle Coleman Shelton of Loyola High in Los Angeles. He does not have an official rating from Scout.com but is rated three stars by Rivals.com and got some hefty praise from his coach earlier this season. That would obviously add to UW’s depth on the OL in this class, as the Huskies currently have commitments from two. Shelton will apparently give UW four official visitors this weekend, the others being the Robinson twins and linebacker Keishawn Bierria.

— PacificTakes breaks down where all of the top uncommitted players on the West may go.

— Here are the updated predictions from the experts at Rivals.com, most picking Myles Jack to sign with the Huskies.

— Thee San Jose Mercury News rates the Top 20 recruits in its area, including UW commits Darrell Daniels and Kevin King. Also, an interesting historical look  back at the area’s top recruits from the Mercury News.

— The ESPN Pac-12 blog assesses which schools are surprising in recruiting.

— Athlon’s rates Troy Williams the No. 8 QB recruit.

Elijah Qualls, Daeshon Hall and Joe Mathis all on Athlon’s list of the top defensive line recruits.

— ESPN has its list of players who will announce during its signing day coverage. Doesn’t look like any potential  Huskies involved.
