Friday links — Williams, Ducre again take to the track, and more

A few links to pass along today. …

Kasen Williams and Greg Ducre will compete for UW in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships indoor track meet today and Saturday at the Dempsey Indoor. Williams will compete in the long and triple jumps and Ducre in the 60-meter dash. Here are details.

— ESPN.com’s Mason Kelley with some recruiting info and other stuff in his Friday mailbag on HuskyNation.

— Here are some highlights of our live chat Thursday with Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott.

— Seahawks.com has a look at the cornerback spot and the 2013 draft, including a mention of Desmond Trufant.

— CougCenter.com with some interesting breakdowns of a few WSU plays and how UW defended them in the Apple Cup.

— SaturdayBlitz.com says college football is better when programs like UW are winning (I’m sure Husky fans would agree).

— You need to be an ESPNInsider to read this, but KC Joyner makes a case for Arizona State as the favorite in the Pac-12 South in 2013. UW will travel to Tempe to play ASU next year after having not played the Sun Devils the past two seasons.
