A few notes and links for Sunday afternoon. …

— Cornerback Greg Ducre was one of UW’s stars at the MPSF indoor track meet this weekend, finishing second in the 60 at 6.81. Kasen Williams also participated in the long jump, finishing seventh in the second flight at 23-07.25

Desmond Trufant met the media today at the NFL Combine. Here’s a picture of what it looked like. I’ll pass along stories later if I see some. His workouts are scheduled for Tuesday.

— ESPN.com’s Ted Miller explains why there aren’t any Huskies on the list of the top 25 players in the Pac-12 in 2012 on the ESPN Pac-12 blog.

John Canzano attempts to get a sense of what’s going on with the Oregon investigation.

— PacificTakes with some Pac-12 recruiting updates.

— An Orlando Sentinel columnist says the SEC needs to play tougher opponents in the non-conference season.

— Finally, here’s a story from Times managing editor David Boardman explaining some coming changes in how readers can access the Times on-line. To head off any questions, I don’t know anything more than what it says in that story.
