Thursday practice notes

It was another Late Night with the Huskies, as UW took to the field around 8:30 p.m. and left it around 10:30 p.m. for their second spring practice of 2013.

Not a lot to report in terms of personnel as everything appeared status quo, as might be expected of a second spring workout without pads — per NCAA rules, UW will not get into full pads until Tuesday.

The workout appeared real similar to Tuesday’s, with lots of individual and drill work, and then a  lot of emphasis on the no-huddle, up-tempo offense during the team sessions.

Among the highlight plays was about an 80-yard TD on a short pass from Keith Price to Austin Seferian-Jenkins in which ASJ got the angle and outraced the secondary. He also hit ASJ for about a 40-yard TD and James Johnson for another pretty long TD. Price, though, also threw a pass over the middle picked off by Thomas Tutogi. Greg Ducre also had an interception of a Cyler Miles pass intended for Jaydon Mickens.

UW coach Steve Sarkisian got the night off from speaking to the media, but we did talk for a while with Justin Wilcox and I will pass along some of that soon in both video and text form.

For now, here is a little video of the quarterbacks throwing and some other stuff:
