A few Saturday links as UW prepares to hit the field

The Huskies will take to the practice field later this afternoon for what is expected to be some of the more serious scrimmaging of the spring. I’ll pass along the usual reports/videos later.

For now, a few links. …

— I totally missed this a few days ago, but the ESPN Pac-12 bloggers debated whether to buy or sell on UW winning the Pac-12 North this season. As you can see, the expectations for this UW team from the outside will be greater this season than they have since maybe 2002.

Desmond Trufant will not be able to attend the NFL Draft after all.

— ESPN also¬† has a good list here of all the spring games in the conference, a few of which are today.

— Boise State, UW’s first opponent in 2013, is holding its spring game today. Here’s a preview.

— Illinois, UW’s second foe of 2013, held its spring game last night and it was pretty high-scoring.

— Rick Neuheisel is impressed by Arizona State.

— Colorado holding its spring game as I type this.
