Desmond Trufant arrived in Atlanta Friday and chose as his jersey No. 21 — which was worn for five years for the Falcons by Deion Sanders.

— He also told Atlanta media that he’s “ready to work.”

— ESPN.com’s Kevin Gemmell defends  not putting Trufant on the Pac-12 blog’s list of the top 25 players in the conference last year despite him being a first-round pick.

— Texas A&M now plays music at all of its practices and coach Kevin Sumlin said he got the idea when he visited UW a few years ago.

— The Spokesman-Review details the paths of a lot of former FBS players who ended up at Eastern Washington, including former Huskies Andru Pulu and Demitrius Bronson.
